Mrs. Bali’s First Grade News
April 24, 2026
Review of our week:
We have had a really great week. In math we finished up telling time to the hour and the half hour. We have also been working on our fluency with addition and subtraction within 20 to get ready for our Acadience Math assessments next week. We are working on our unit in Listening and Learning about how America became a country. We are doing really well in our reading unit.
We will be doing our Acadience Math tests on Monday and Thursday. We will be doing our Accidence Reading test on Wednesday. Please, please keep reading with your child. The reading at home makes such a difference. Also, please make sure your child gets a good night sleep and eats a good breakfast.
Reading Helpers:
I really wanted to thank all of you who have taken the time to come in and read this year. I know it takes a lot of time, but it really has made a big difference with helping our class learn how to read this year. Next week April 27-May 1 will be the last week to come in and read. Thanks again for everything you have done this year.
Take Home Books:
These are due on Monday. If you can’t find it, or it is damaged, you will need to pay for the book.
