Review
of our week:
We just
started a unit about how our country was formed and about American Symbols. This is one of my favorite ones. We finished up math chapter on greater than
and less than. We started adding and subtracting double digits. We are almost finished
with our skills unit. We are working on
a descriptive writing piece. We are
writing about one of the animals we read about in our unit. I am really happy with how far our writing has
come.
Out
of town:
I
just wanted to let you know, I will be out of town next Tuesday-Friday. Mrs. Illiun will be here Tuesday, Thursday
and Friday. Mrs. Thompson will be here
on Wednesday. They have both been in my
classroom before. They are both very
good subs. I just wanted to let you know
in case your child is worried about me being gone. I will talk to them about it on Monday before
I leave. I won’t have a newsletter next
week.
